Sign your company on to a letter urging Congress to support Clean Energy!

A grassroots movement has started across the U.S. led by small solar businesses to advocate Congressional leadership for advancements in clean energy policy.  The current happenings in D.C. include the following.  Please sign-on to this letter for federal policy action.

  • An ITC extension for solar and other technologies is being considered for a large infrastructure package;

  • However, what that would entail, and how it gets done, remain to be seen;

  • What we know is that an ITC extension is in play, which may or may not include 25D parity, and direct pay (likely only for business);

  • Many questions remain, including whether a bi-partisan package could succeed, and if not whether Democrats would have the votes to go it alone via the budget reconciliation process (which only requires a simple majority in the Senate);

  • The Administration and Democrats have signaled that they’d like to move on infrastructure before the August recess;

  • Thus, time is of the essence to further the cause, both for a 30% long-term extension, as well as parity for 25D and direct pay for businesses as well as homeowners and others.
