We're Hiring: Program Manager
Are you passionate about climate and equity? Are you ready to work with Oregon communities to bring about change? Oregon Solar + Storage Industries Association (OSSIA) and the Oregon Solar Energy Education Fund (OSEEF) are hiring a program manager to kick-start our workforce development program.
The solar industry provides good paying jobs, but is 90% white and 80% male; OSSIA/OSEEF seek to change that through our work. OSSIA is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Program Manager with strong relationship building skills who has connections and experience working with communities of color. The core of the position is to develop and implement programs to expand the solar workforce in an equitable and inclusive way that builds value for communities and the industry.
OSSIA and OSEEF are small but mighty organizations. Staff and volunteer Boards of Directors support each other and work collaboratively to advance our goals. We celebrate our successes and navigate our challenges together. Over the past few years we have held record-breaking industry conferences, passed critical solar legislation, and created a new solar workforce training with a local pre-apprenticeship program.
As a strong candidate you will enjoy and have experience working with community organizations. You will have a track record of building relationships and have a passion for advancing racial equity. You will be detail-oriented, able to multi-task and work independently.
Join our dynamic team to make a difference together in our world, locally and globally.
