Policy update – three weeks to go! Action needed! (Jun18)

We’re coming down to the wire to pass HB 2618, the Solar Rebate bill.  Things are shaky right now for the bill due to last minute concerns from the Oregon Department of Energy and the Governor’s office, putting our bill in jeopardy.  But it’s not over until it’s over!  Please take a minute to write your legislators an email requesting funding and passage of these important bills.  Find your legislator and their contact info here.

A bit of good policy news – HB 2329, the bill to improve the EFSC process looks like it will pass this session.   The House will vote on the bill next week.  For OSEIA members with larger projects this bill will give you more flexibility to work with counties instead of needing to go to EFSC.  Thank you to Renewable NorthWest for all their work on this bill.
